Trail exploration

Trail Guide & Difficulty Ratings

Look, we're not gonna sugarcoat it - some trails will kick your butt, and others are perfect for a leisurely stroll with your morning coffee. Here's the honest breakdown of what's waiting right outside your door.

Cedar Grove Loop
Easy 1.2 km
25 min

Perfect for your first morning here. Flat terrain, tons of photo ops, and you'll spot some seriously massive old cedars. Kids and dogs love this one.

Jade Peak Ascent
Moderate 4.8 km
2 hrs

There's a steady climb, but the summit view? Worth every step. Pack water and snacks - you'll wanna hang up there for a bit. Best at sunrise if you're an early bird.

Alpine Meadow Circuit
Moderate 6.3 km
2.5 hrs

Wildflowers from June through August - seriously Instagram-worthy. Gentle elevation gain with wide-open meadow views. Bring bug spray during peak summer though!

Ridgeline Challenge
Challenging 11.2 km
5 hrs

This one's for experienced hikers only. Steep switchbacks, exposed sections, and some scrambling near the top. Start early, check weather, and let us know you're heading out.

Waterfall Descent
Moderate 3.7 km
1.5 hrs

Downhill to the falls, which means uphill on the way back - just keep that in mind! The waterfall's absolutely stunning after spring melt. Trail can get muddy, so decent shoes are a must.
